The Narrators: DIY or DIE

“We curate the storytellers, but we don’t know what stories they will tell; we don’t make people rehearse. It’s very raw and simple, and that’s the part that I think makes it beautiful and very human,” says Erin Rollman, co-host of The Narrators, a monthly story hour. Rollman and fellow host Ron Doyle create loose themes that steer an assembly of gifted talkers in a general direction – no framework provided, just a topic and ten minutes for each performer to relay a real-life experience.
