More than just music, the Denver Philharmonic Orchestra combines high quality music concerts with fun activities before and after the performance to create a one-of-a-kind musical evening experience.
Tickets are $10 – $20, and kids 12 and under are free. Tickets available soon.

The Music:
Three popular symphonic masterpieces! Pianist Steven Lin, praised for his “sparkling virtuosity” (The Washington Post), joins the DPO for Sergei Rachmaninoff’s exciting and romantic Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. The concert opens with Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s iconic Symphony No. 40, one of the most iconic symphonies in history, and ends with Igor Stravinsky’s The Firebird Suite, from the ballet based on the Russian legend of the Firebird.

The Activities:
Pre-Concert Chat, 6:30pm – Join us for informal pre-concert chat sessions about the music you’ll be hearing hosted by DPO associate conductor S. Mordecai Fuhrman. What should you listen for? What is the music’s historic and cultural context? We’ll give you insights into the music and music-makers you’ll be listening to. Pre-concert chats are free to all ticket holders starting at 6:30pm on all concert nights.
Instrument Petting Zoo, 6:50–7:15pm – Honk! Buzz! Toot! Before the concert, find out about the different orchestra instruments. Pick up a trombone or a violin and give it a go! Instruments generously provided by Kolacny Music.
Reception, immediately following concert – Say hello! Come downstairs after the concert for refreshments, meet the soloists, buy a t-shirt — and have fun!
