Shut Up and Listen

Look under your seats everybody, because guess what?!! YOU get a laugh! And YOU get a laugh! And YOU get a laugh! No, Oprah won’t be there but MCA Denver’s new Spring Event Series will give a stage to the art of live comedic storytelling with Shut Up and Listen, a new event that combines a live podcast taping (because learning is fun) with comedy (because comedy is fun-ny) to create a night that will leave you both smarter, and in stitches.

APRIL 20:

Live taping of Denver’s local podcast, Empty Girlfriend. Denver comedians Haley Driscoll and Christie Buchele bring you a dark but hilarious look at love and relationships. Along with a weekly guest they attempt to tackle the tough questions by offering life tips and love quips like any unqualified professional should do.

After the taping, comedians Emily Przekwas and Zac Maas will take the stage and do their thing.

Zac Maas is a regular at Comedy Works and the host of the Laugh Night on Earth every 3rd Wednesday at the Sloan’s Lake Alamo Draft House.
