PrideFest

PrideFest, one of the largest celebrations of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender pride in the country, celebrates its 40th anniversary this year! Everyone is welcome at this festive event, in fact, last year, more than 365,000 people attended. PrideFest features an abundance of live entertainment, a 5k race, a 20-foot tall art installation titled “Equality Cake”, LGBT resource area and Family Day programming on Saturday. Watch for the PrideFest Parade on Sunday, which will depart from Cheesman Park at 9:30a, then proceed down Colfax and end in Civic Center Park.
