Denver Rocks! Let's do cool things!
Climber and adventurer Conrad Anker shares the stories behind the making of National Parks Adventures 3D, celebrating the 100th anniversary of these beautiful and majestic locales. Anker’s journeys have taken him from Alaska and Baffin Island to Patagonia and Antarctica, where in 1997 he climbed 2,500- foot Rakekniven in Queen Maud Land with Alex Lowe and Jon Krakauer. He has summited Everest three times on educational and research expeditions; during one of his ascents he discovered the body of pioneer Everest explorer George Mallory. Fuel your passion for our parks during a screening of the film followed by Anker’s tales of climbing greatness.
