Denver Rocks! Let's do cool things!
Music was part of artist Clyfford Still’s life from an early age. Still played piano and memorized works by Beethoven, Chopin, and Schubert. His record collection, which is part of the Clifford Still Museum’s archives, includes an eclectic mix of classical, jazz, traditional, gospel, blues, and folk. If you share Still’s appreciation for music, head to the museum to enjoy live performances in the galleries.
October 9: Harry Tuft
Founder of the Denver Folklore Center and one of Denver’s premier folk singers, Tuft will present an afternoon of Burl Ives and Lead Belly, two artists represented in Still’s record collection.
Included with admission. No registration required.
[$6 – $10; youth under 18 are always free at the Still]
