Anthropologist, archaeologist, and adventurer Mark Aldenderfer takes you to the remote basins and ranges of the Andes in Peru and the Himalayas in Nepal to discover the origins of settled village life and how humans adapted to high-altitude environments. Uncover fascinating objects and stories, dig through excavation projects, and delve into the genetics and health aspects of his research. Aldenderfer’s adventures have been featured in PBS documentaries and National Geographic.
