Looking for a way to walk your dog and learn a little about Denver’s history? History Colorado invites you and your friendly canine companion to join us for our walking tour series.
History Hounds: Walking Tours and Treks for our furry friends and their humans
July 23rd 9:00-10:30am Historic Walking Tour of Cheesman Park with History Colorado’s expert guide Shawn Snow
August 20th 9:00-10:30am Historic Walking Tour of City Park with History Colorado’s expert guide Shawn Snow
September 17th 9:00-11:00am Mt. Falcon Hike Jefferson County Open Space, with Colorado State Archaeologist, Dr. Holly Norton
Dogs are invited to join their owners for these walking tours. Dogs must have current shots, mix well with others and remain on a leash. Owners are responsible for water and cleaning up after their dogs. There is a 2 dog maximum per registered guest.
