Grand Opening of the Antonia Brico Stage

Da da da dun! The Denver Philharmonic Orchestra returns for another season of great live music on a brand new stage. Recently completed, the new stage is dedicated to Antonia Brico, DPO founder and pioneer female conductor. The concert includes Beethoven’s Leonore Overture No. 3, Wagner’s Overture to Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, Hummel’s Trumpet Concerto in E-flat Major and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5, in addition to a food truck tailgate event, sidewalk games, a pre-show chat, beer, coffee and live tweeting during the concert. With the Denver Phil, there’s always more than just music and we love that!
