Design Council of the Denver Art Museum is pleased to host the Denver premiere of Frei Otto: Spanning the Future, the story of the innovative German architect and 2015 Pritzker Prize Laureate, Frei Otto.
Half a century ago, Otto became world famous as a pioneer in the design of lightweight tensile structures. Born in Germany in 1925, Otto’s life story is set against the sweep of 20th century history. The documentary was filmed in Stuttgart, Mannheim, Munich, London, and Los Angeles, and includes exclusive interviews with Frei Otto and Zaha Hadid, among others.

Doors open at 6 pm; screening begins at 6:30 pm (running time 60 minutes)
Free, but seating is limited and registration is required. Open to the public.
