Once known as the Harlem of the West, Five Points was home to several jazz clubs which played host to many of jazz music’s legends such as Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk and many more. The Five Points Jazz Festival is an annual celebration that celebrates this legacy with a day full of music on 8 different stages, plus food, culture and fun.

Black American West Museum (3091 California Street)
Founded in 1971 by Paul W. Stewart, the museum’s primary focus is the Black migration west. To celebrate the Annual Five Points Jazz Festival, come see pictures of what “Five Points” really used to look like! General admission applies.
