About the Married to the Military Lecture: Women now make up over fifteen percent of US Armed Forces, but the numbers don’t tell the whole story of the remarkable sea change women have seen in their relationship to the military in the last fifteen years. Helen Thorpe, author of Soldier Girls, will jumpstart a dynamic discussion with Angie Ricketts, author of No Man’s War, and Warrant Officer Jaclyn Scott about women’s roles as active duty soldiers, reservists, and wives.
