Denver Rocks! Let's do cool things!
Transport yourself to Munich for Oktoberfest on September 29 as Denver Philharmonic Orchestra’s 70th Season premiere kicks off with a pre-concert Bavarian street festival!
DPO will welcome oboist Hideki Machida from the Bavarian Philharmonic, their transatlantic sister orchestra, to perform Johann Sebastian Bach’s spirited Concerto for Violin & Oboe with DPO’s own concertmaster, violinist Katherine Thayer. Joining DPO for Franz Schubert’s Magnificat are the Colorado Repertory Singers and solo vocalists Emily Morris, Jennifer DeDominici, Kevin Gwinn and Nicholas Navarre. The night concludes with Johannes Brahms’ emotional Symphony No. 2.

Schubert: Magnificat
Brahms: Symphony No. 2
