Denver Greek Festival

This festival is a family favorite and a highlight of summertime in Denver–and you don’t even have to be Greek in order to have a fantastic time! One of the special highlights is the amazing array of traditional dance performances throughout each day of the festival. Performers ages 5 through adult wear regional costumes that are often handed down generation to generation while performing colorful and energetic dances to traditional Greek music. The tour of the cathedral (“the gold dome”) is also not to be missed. The interior is a true work of art and the guides are adept at helping visitors understand the 360 degrees of imagery. Last, but not least, is the Greek food available at the festival. If I knew how to say “oh my, this is so delicious!” in Greek, I would certainly write that here!
