Oil and gas development in Colorado has become the source of many contentious policy debates in recent years. These debates often center on the potential risks and benefits associated with oil and gas development, including the use of hydraulic fracturing to access oil and gas resources, and the increased supply of fossil fuels made available by hydraulic fracturing.
Across these debates, questions about the status of the science of the costs and benefits of oil and gas development arise. A panel of University of Colorado researchers from the AirWaterGas Sustainability Research Network will explore questions such as:
