6th Annual Klesmerfest

Celebrate community, culture, Christmas Eve, and the first night of Chanukah at this fun annual event at the legendary Mercury Cafe. Brooklyn-based Tsibele, a lively four-piece klezmer ensemble (violin, accordion, trumpet and flute) who have been making a name for themselves in the New York klezmer and world music scene will be on hand as well as The Lost Tribe, who will bring high-energy klezmer fusion party tunes, ramped up with rock, reggae, and funk grooves. The evening’s lineup also includes acclaimed singer/songwriter Rabbi Joe Black with guest violinist Sandra Wong.
