Had enough holiday-themed entertainment? The creative folks at Buntport invite you to come spend 90 minutes (give or take) exploring fake realness and real fakeness at their latest show, “Coyote. Badger. Rattlesnake.” The absurdist play takes place in a museum diorama as Carol and Glenn restore a Plains scene following an infestation that destroyed the previous diorama. The show has its laughs, its usual Buntport quirkiness, but ultimately left me wanting a clearer final message or more significant character development. But perhaps this is exactly the point of the show and the flatness of the characters, like the flatness of the Plains scene on which they work is all part of the commentary on the flatness of our daily routines. Buntport shows always leave me thinking.
